We are committed to supporting local businesses as much as possible and encourage everyone else to do the same. In the last few weeks, we've been reminded of why Peoria is a great place to live ... and eat! From Lou's Drive-in with the kids to celebrate the last day of school or a relaxing evening at 2 Chez chatting with good friends, our city offers a range of eateries.
Don't forget the Spotted Cow. Whether it's a quick business lunch (gotta have the Italian Beef) or Blue Wave ice cream with the kids, it's always a hit. We also finally found time to check out The Kaiserhof. The owner was so accommodating and explained that they're now offering kid-friendly food including hot dogs and mac-n-cheese. The accordion player adds to the fun for the whole family, while a full bar provides a range of adult beverages.
Especially in these economic challenging times, let's remember to support our local businesses – both financially and with words of encouragement.
