Online Marketing Spending to Increase in 2009
Nearly two-thirds (62%) of organizations say they will increase their online direct marketing spending in 2009, according to the sixth Annual Marketing Survey conducted by marketing analytics provider Alterian. (Source: Marketing News, 03.30.09)
Yet, those dollars may be spent differently than in the past. According to a recent article in Business Week, there may be fewer ads – but they will be larger and more interactive.
Like everything in marketing today, it's a matter of staying ahead of the game by adapting and evolving to meet the needs of fickle consumers. Today's technology makes marketing a greater challenge – but it also makes it a greater opportunity for those who are insightful, aware and innovative.
